We have begun construction of the Sensory Gymnastics Area in the gym. The framework now standing in the Mezzanine area will host a number of sensory stimulation apparatus including lycra hammocks, bolster swing and other climbing and balancing equipment. The area once complete will also have sensory panels on the walls and floor along with other free standing pieces of equipment. 

The area will be specifically for children with sensory processing issues and for very young children. Among other groups the area will be used by our regular Occupational Therapy (OT) group usually held every Tueday. 

Our resident Occupational Therapist, Alison Oxley, will continue working with the OT group every Tuesday and as we look to the future other groups will start using our facility including the new Sensory area.
